Have fun during Spring Break this year. Learn how to fly a drone and improve your skills. Pass The Recreational UAS Safety Test to become a recreational drone pilot. Practice planning and flying Search and Rescue Missions, and other flight activities. Learn to take pictures and videos with a drone. We will even build a drone obstacle course and learn to program a drone.
Topics covered in this course include: E-VTOL aircraft, rotors and distributed electric propulsion, E-VTOL battery systems, brushless permanent magnetic motors, hybrid electric propulsion (HEP), E-VTOL avionics systems, and certifications.
This course introduces the various topics involved in general airport operations management. Students obtain an understanding of basic airport functions and operations as a whole and its various departments. Students also learn components of an airport business model including expenses, accounting and stockholder interactions.
This course introduces the various topics involved in the overall planning and development of an airport. This course will provide the student with an understanding of the entities involved with airport planning, development of it’s layout/master plan, and the typical project lifecycle for an airport development project.
This course builds on the introductory operational concepts provided in the Manual Flight, Safety and Crew Resource Management Course. You will learn how to collect drone images and turn them into 3D maps, models and surveys.
Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) addresses maintaining direct unaided visual contact with a remotely piloted UA. Students learn to meet collision avoidance and separation responsibilities. Topics cover extended distance flying, weather, factors affecting flight, system management, regulations, safety protocols, risk assessment, and emergency response.
Obtain a professional learning experience in the drone industry. This is a great opportunity for students to gain short-term work experience, to develop practical work skills and to explore careers. There is not a better way to get some entry-level exposure and to make industry connections.
This course is intended to prepare students to work with drones by building them from the base up. This course provides coverage of the maintenance, repair, performance measurement, and upgrade of sUAS platforms
Explores the aesthetic principles of framing & movement for photographers & videographers. This course applies cinematography principles in photography & videography(frame rates, formate, composition, rule of thirds, symmetry, perspective, parallex) to sUAS operations.
This course will provide the students with an understanding of the general operations and management of an FBO located at an airport. Course primarily covers fueling operations including inventory, equipment, self-serve, truck fueling and facilities management. Also includes fueling regulations, financial planning & management, asphalt & runway care and marketing of a FBO.
Drone, drones, everywhere! Learn how to fly a drone and improve your skills. Practice planning and flying Search and Rescue Missions, parachute drops, medical deliveries, and other fun flight activities. Build drone obstacle courses, and large tower structures to inspect.
Everyone will leave the camp with their own drone that they built, which is capable of stunt flights and 3D flips.
Learn to take pictures and videos with a drone. We will even learn to program a drone, read weather reports and how to talk on a radio like a pilot!
No previous experience is required. Fun for girls and boys. We make STEM learning fun!

Want to learn how to plan drone flights safety? Want to try flying drones, but don’t have one yet? We can provide drones for you to try or you can bring your own. Starting at $49/hour (2 hour minimum required)
Emphasis is placed on the safe, legal and ethical use of drones. Students will learn where they can fly and how to obtain waivers, if needed. The student and instructor will agree on a location to fly.
Anyone flying a drone for business, commercial enterprise, or non-profit work needs to operate under Part 107 rules and must have a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification from the FAA. This certificate is legal proof that the drone pilot complies with the knowledge and safety standards of the FAA.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be prepared to take the FAA Part 107 Exam at an approved FAA Testing Center. The instructor has taught over 600 students this course and 99.5% of the students have passed the exam.
